James Blackwell is a 3D Environment and Character Artist situated in Plymouth, UK.

He has a passion for creating highly detailed, optimised assets for use in real-time engines such as Unreal Engine 4 and Unity. James adopts Substance Painter and Designer for the PBR workflow to create both realistic and stylised looking materials.

With a solid critical understanding of the 3D asset creation pipeline, James is currently available for industry experience through freelance and UK studio-based opportunities
